See below for the areas of support we are looking for. If you are interested in joining our team please click the ‘Sign up’ button. We will arrange a time for you to visit our centre and meet us. Please note you may be required to go through a DBS check.
What we need support with
Activities
Engage with older adults during activities such as playing board games, doing jigsaw puzzles, joining in lunch events, having a chat over tea and biscuits
Interact with children at after school club by engaging in activities, assisting with school work and distributing food/drink.

Events
Welcome visitors and provide information
Distribute flyers
Manage a stall, eg face-painting, lucky dip, information stand
Help with catering
Serve drinks and snacks from the kitchen hatch
Setting up/tidying up
Garden programme coordinator
Coordinate the gardening volunteer group
Share gardening skills e.g how to plant veg, maintain the veg patch, build bug hotels
Know what to grow and when
Composting
Help maintain the garden
Create upcycled planters with gardening volunteers out of tin cans, wooden crates, tyres etc

Cook/Cooking programme coordinator
Knowledgeable in healthy eating and nutrition
Mindful of various allergens, diets and cultural differences
Prepare lunch for staff and morning volunteers
Lead cooking class every two weeks
